Masudur Laskar is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in various fields of taxes and accounting. He began his career by launching his own tax business in 2003. Over the years, he has held several key positions in finance and accounting, contributing to his extensive expertise in these areas. He served as the Financial Controller of Hilton Garden Inn, a well-known hotel chain, where he was responsible for overseeing the financial operations. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at a renowned group of companies, where he was instrumental in shaping their financial strategies. In addition, he worked as the Company Secretary and Deputy General Manager at a government-owned company that was sponsored by the World Bank, further broadening his experience in the public sector.

While handling with the launch of his taxes and accounting career in 2003, Masudur had to manage multiple jobs across the food and beverage industry, working in global restaurant chains like Red Lobster and other prominent restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area. To utilize part of the big office spaces, he decided to open a high-end café in 2014, that also offers other retail services.

 

Recently, Laskar expanded his professional repertoire by obtaining a license to practice law as a Paralegal in the Province of Ontario. Currently, he is the CEO and owner of St. Lawrence Professionals Inc. consisting of St Lawrence Tax & Accounting and St. Lawrence Café. His diverse skill set and extensive experience in taxes, accounting, finance, law, and food and beverage, along with his entrepreneurial spirit, makes him a versatile leader in his field. As both the CEO and owner, he plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and overseeing its operations. His journey from launching his own tax business in 2003 to owning and leading St. Lawrence Professionals Inc. today is a testament to his expertise and leadership in the industry.
